Terry A. Osborn, Ph.D., (born November 30, 1966), married to Dina Ciotola Osborn, is an American academic authority in applied linguistics and critical pedagogy. He is currently Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, having served as Interim Chancellor in 2014.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Interim chancellor named at USF Sarasota-Manatee )〕 Osborn taught public school for six years and was previously Dean of the College of Education at University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee and was on the faculties of Fordham University, Queens College of City University of New York and the University of Connecticut. As Chair of the Foreign Language Education program in the Neag School of Education, Osborn led his program to national recognition in teacher development. As Dean, he led in the formation of the Center for Partnerhsips for Arts-Integrated Teaching (PAInT). Osborn researches and publishes in the areas of foreign/world language education, interdisciplinary education, and critical pedagogy.
